With the acquisition of Houston-based Quadrant Consultants, Bowman greatly enhanced its aviation design and planning services. Since 1979, Quadrant has worked on many design and planning projects across the U.S. and abroad, and have designed runways, relocated utilities, prepared Master Plans, updated Airport Layout Plans, and performed site selection studies.

Bush Intercontinental Airport Roadway Rehabilitation

Preparation of a Documented Categorical Exclusion for 20,000 feet of rehabilitated roadways around Terminals A, B and C and along Will Clayton Parkway in Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Quadrant prepared the Categorical Exclusion checklist form and three Technical Memoranda: Noise, Air Quality and Traffic. Quadrant used ACEIT software developed by the Transportation Research Board to estimate noise emissions and the Highway Capacity Manual to estimate traffic impacts.

George Bush Intercontinental Airport Master Plan Update

Master Plan for expanding Bush Intercontinental Airport to meet demand through 2030. Quadrant conducted the environmental analysis of current conditions and the proposed alternative plans, including noise analysis.

Hobby Airport Master Plan Update

Master Plan update for William P. Hobby Airport, including runway expansion and realignment, a new parking garage and roadway changes. Quadrant performed the environmental overview, GIS analysis and noise modeling.
